Family Making Memories.
This is a beautiful morning, dear diary.to any of you bloggers out there ,glad you are here,to all you readers,I am grateful to have you reading my blog today.I want you to know some days I will write about topics from my work as a counselor and consult, also spiritual experiences.I have said before ,when you read my blog ,please share it with others. And I will say thank you now.I have been thinking about "Making Memories".that's what we call it in my family. We make sure to do family things, like,a camping trip. It's funny how you are a little different when you are away from home ,but have your loved ones with you, sometimes, friends of the family. Now that's different, does your family have a family friend?(friend of the family),that is something that makes memories, all the family and friends together at another time and talk about ,do you remember when we learned j. couldn't swim,he lost his watch in the water, and we were diving under to find the watch, and someone noticed J.,was not.But then later he made that delious meal;he said I can't swim, but I am a great cook!of course we all laughed.Making memories is something to start early in the family so the kids know about making memories and enjoy this activity.Otherwise it may be difficult later to get your teens interested. But I must say here sometimes a teen will be resistant to the idea, but once they are involved they begin to have fun, maybe even get it ,and want make family memories.the activity can be something like a cook out, birthday, roadtrip, trying something new, something not so good.I think of memories and laugh to myself, sometimes talking about one of those times,it is hysterical, laughing till we hurt.so if you hadn't thought of this in awhile maybe this post will help.Oh ,before I leave, here is one we still laugh about ,eventhough it's been 20 years,my mom made her famous gravy and biscuits.A breakfast my son had rave about to his friends. This particular morning,as they began to eat, strange looks came across their faces. She had made her gravy with vinegar.
