a Good Time

Before I begin my entry I want everyone to know ,I lost my diary page last night. Dear Dairy, you know sometimes I forget some of the best times I have had in my life have been unplaned, spontainous. The past week end My 16 year old grandson stayed with me.I learned more about how he has matured; in his thinking and knowledge he has acquired from his education. It has always been compfortable and easy when we spend time together.I think it is because we don't feel the need to make something happen, like plans to do a specific activity. It's like a dance ,by that I mean he will be in one room doing something and I in another room doing something else, then at some point we will talk, joke around, debate about a topic, and sometimes one of us wins sometimes we just turn to something else, like who is going to call in an order for pizza. He says I should have been a lawyer because I sure know how to confuse a person.I give him the gesture that means it went right over his head.(in case you are not familiar with the gesture,I swish my flat hand over my head without touching my,head, what I said went right over his head). I love it, he orders the Pizza! So as we move on ,he is working on my computer, then I go do someting I think will help fix the computer.then we end up there together. We yammer about who's been doing what ,At one point i am trying to explain what he needs to do and he says ,I can't understand you.I say it's because I've got pizza in my mouth.Soon he finds a used keyboard I had bought at thrift store.I hear him plunking on the keys. I bring in the sheet music and he begins to play the songs with one finger. He would say how does thst sound? These were very old songs;"SwanneyRiver","When The Saints Go Marching In".He needed me to sing the melodey, and we practiced and got a little better, Ha!.We both had a new experience,we learned from one another, and of course, laugh at our selves .It reminded me of ;keyboard $5.00,piano book .69cents.Fun time together, priceless! till tomorrow, live life now.
