I'm On My Soapbox Again.

Dear Diary, I can't help but notice ,my post does not seem to have any readers,subscribers,no feedback.I am still optimizing the blog and possible have not completed all that needs to be done.I did receive an email about a month ago from another blogger.The blog is titled "loving and listening".They provide a most needed service.The site is a place where girls can talk about their life,ask for help with problems in their life,and know there is always a place to turn to for help.It is usually very difficult to ask for help or even be able to find help with problems,and not only problems but decisions that all girls face,and in the present time there are more and more difficult decisions,for their young age.Most teens don't want to talk to a parent about alot of the things that are out there.Let's look at an example;I have met this guy ,and he is really hot! buuut,if my parents knew ,well because ,he is like 17 and I am 13 ,almost 14,in 4 months.I met him at my girlfriend's friend's house, when I was spending the night.He's a friend of my friend's ,older brother .We have been together like 3 times,and he really wants to ,you know.I mean I do want to ,but I'm really confused because,some of the girls I know think it's no big deal,but then they just do whatever ,because either their parents have their own problems or their not around much,ya know.then there are friends who tell me he is too old for me,that if I continue to see him,I will eventually have to .They say,why would a guy who is 17 want to date a 13 year old?they say "you better talk to some one who can help you ,someone who knows about these things,we know your not going to tell your parents,but this is big."...So that my example, of course I could add alot more,but this gives you the tip of the iceberg...believe me when I say there are no set rules to follow for these girls.I'll tell you I have worked with kids of all ages,that have been through hell and nowhere to turn.In our society many adults don't know what is appropriate for their kids.And this is not to be taken as an insult to parents.there are many books and videos that can help a family develop a value system ,some people make these decisions by following the words of Jesus.You have to stand for something or you'll fall for anything.
